Known to God, Never Forgotten.

Some names are known worldwide. Others were mentioned once in a news report and then disappeared from public memory. Many have never been spoken of outside the places where they were exploited.

But every one of them is known to God.

​

We remember those whose lives were taken through human trafficking, sexual exploitation, forced labor, abuse, and violence. We remember those who died while trying to escape, those who remain missing, and those whose fate is still unknown.

They were never statistics.

​

They were daughters and sons, sisters and brothers, mothers and fathers. They had names, personalities, hopes, talents, and dreams. Their lives possessed a dignity that no trafficker, abuser, or act of violence could erase.

This memorial does not belong only to those who have died. It also holds space for survivors carrying wounds that cannot be seen and for families still waiting for answers. We remember them without exposing their stories, claiming their pain, or defining them by what was done to them.

May this place bear witness that they lived, that their lives mattered, and that they have not been forgotten.

​

May those who remain captive be found.

May those who have escaped discover safety and healing.
May grieving families find comfort.

May justice reach those who exploit the vulnerable.

And may the dead rest forever in the loving arms of God.
